    FAQ

Questions about the board and your rank.

    Leaderboard

    How are minutes counted?

Only real playing time counts, across Live, Series, Dramas and Movies. Active playback counts even in a background tab or picture-in-picture. Paused, stalled and seeking time do not count.

    Do all my profiles count?

Yes. The board ranks accounts, so minutes from every profile on your account are added together.

When does the monthly board reset?

On the 1st of every month at 00:00 UTC. The all-time board never resets.

    Can I change my nickname?

Yes. Open Your Account Settings to pick a new nickname. You can change it every 24 hours.

    Ranks

    How do I earn XP?

Watch anything to earn 1 XP per minute, plus bonuses for finishing titles, daily streaks and weekly quests.

Is there a daily XP limit?

Yes. Watching earns up to 480 XP a day (8 hours), and finish bonuses count up to 10 times a day.

    Can I lose ranks?

No. Your rank only resets when you choose Encore after reaching Marshall.

What happened to my old badge?

It was converted. Every minute you had already watched became 1 XP, so you kept all your progress.

    What is an Encore?

At Marshall you can restart at Rookie and earn a gold star. You keep your ring and medals. You can do it up to 5 times.

    How do genre medals work?

Watch 10, 50 or 200 hours in a genre to earn its bronze, silver or gold medal. Pin up to 3 to your profile.

    When do quests reset?

Every Monday. You get three new quests each week.

Can I change my badge or upload a picture?

No. Your badge is earned by watching, so everyone's badge shows real progress.

    How do membership rings work?

Active, non-trial memberships earn Bronze at 2 days, Silver at 30, Gold at 90, Platinum at 180, Diamond at 365 and VIP at 2 years, measured from the saved membership start date.

Do I keep my membership ring after an Encore?

Yes. Encore preserves your membership start date, medals and leaderboard minutes. Your ring is shown while your non-trial subscription is active.

    Monthly Competition

How do I win a free month?

The account finishing #1 on the Monthly Leaderboard at the end of the month wins 30 free days of ZeroCableTV. All profiles on your account contribute. The competition begins in October 2026.

    When does the competition close?

Each round closes on the 1st of the next month at 00:00 UTC. The monthly board then starts fresh. Your all-time minutes, rank, membership ring and medals stay with you.

    How is the prize added?

The winner’s 30 free days are added automatically after the month closes, extending their existing subscription. No extra purchase or claim is required. Connected provider lines are extended by our team.

Is the current leader already the winner?

No. The current month is marked In Progress. The final result is saved only after the month closes. Previous winners are listed by month and year, and their displayed nickname follows account nickname changes.

Can the same account win again?

Yes. Everyone starts each month at zero monthly minutes, and every month has one champion. A previous winner can compete again.

What happens if two accounts tie?

The account with more tracked seconds ranks higher. Exact ties use the same order as the board: the earlier account creation date, then the stable account ID.

Is there a daily watch-time limit?

You can count up to 24 hours per account per UTC day. Watching on different devices or profiles contributes to the same account. Overlapping streams count once, so several devices cannot multiply watch time. Active playback counts even when the page is hidden or in picture-in-picture. Paused, stalled and seeking time do not count. Watch XP has a separate daily limit of 480 XP (8 hours).
